Disclaimer, the process talked about does cost money so if you are wanting to make a website for free, read our other pinterest marketing post.
I realised in the other pinterest marketing/advertising post I really only talked about how you could do it for free, I never really talked about the paid version, and what you can do with the money to advertise your products or site.
Last post I talked you through setting up the pin, so if that is what you want to know I recommend you check the other post out, as I will not be talking about it in this one. In this post I will be talking about what happens if you pay to advertise your pin.
You now have your pin, and you are making it into an ad. You have to pick your target audience- I recommend using your blog niche to choose. You also have to pick how much you want to spend each day, the higher your budget and the longer the time, the more people your ad will reach. However if your niche is not a current trending or popular niche, i do not recommend you do your ad until it is because if your niche is not popular and no one searches it no one will find your ads and you will have wasted your money.
Now to talk about prices, depending on how serious you are about blogging depends on how much you should spend. This is my opinion on pricing you can pay whatever you want these are just guidelines
- Serious, you want to turn it into a full time job – £15+ a day
- Almost Serious, You want to turn it into a paying job but not full time – £10 a day
- Ok, It’s a hobby that pays its not your full time job just part time – £5 a day
- Hobby, blogging is just your hobby it might bring in an extra bit of money but nothing big – £1 – £3 a day
The ad should reach everyone who searches your niche, or the niche hashtag you used in the ad. Of course I am not saying people are guaranteed to click on it but it definitely can bring in some extra views likes and follows. We hope you enjoyed reading this post, as always if you have any questions just ask them in the comments, we will reply or if we think your question is great we will make a whole post on it.
