I have had 2 blogs, this one and a beauty one. I have seen a big increase in likes and followers. I have had this blog for 6 days and the other one for 6 months. I hit 50 likes and 30 followers on this one in 6 days, on my beauty blog I had 11 followers and about 15 likes. This is why niche is important.
Getting more traffic is also easier if you don’t have a lot of competition. beauty blogs have a lot of competition because most beauty brands have a blog. It is easier to blog about something where there is not a lot of other blogs, but is a popular topic that people search.
The topics we don’t recommend are things such as beauty, fashion, food, lifestyle, sports and travel. Topics that are not as popular are money, blogging, ecommerce and business.
However if you are starting a blog, blog about something you feel you can write a lot about, not something popular that you will get a lot of traffic and likes for. Just know that if you start a blog about a very popular topic you are not likely to get as much traffic as you would blogging about a different topic.
Starting to make a website, you must stay in your niche. Traffic will not be guaranteed for whatever your niche is. But you get better traffic in unpopular more searched niches than very popular niches with many sites.
