You probably know that pinterest helps a lot of bloggers grow their blogs, and it does. It hasn’t helped me massively because before I used tailwind I had around 50 views, people might now be aware of my blog, but no one clicked on the pin or visited my site. I have now started using tailwind, I am only using the free trial and I recommend you do that to if you are thinking about using it. So is tailwind worth it?
So Tailwind is a pin scheduler for pinterest, it is basically seo for your pins so people see them and, as I mentioned before, a lot of popular blogs use it. I decided that I wanted to try it and see if it works and is worth the money (as I am writing this the cost is £9.99 or 799.99) Which to me sounded a bit expensive for a pinterest scheduler. I do not have a screen shot of 50 viewers / my results before tailwind. I have not finished my trial yet so if anything happens I will update this post.
These are my ‘results’ about two thirds into the 30 day trial.

So I currently have 373 viewers of my profile. But I have learnt to repost pins after a few weeks, so I did that with one of my first posts The Secrets To Pinterest Advertising. Underneath is the result of the pin without tailwind.

These were actually the most impressive results I got without tailwind. I think this might be due to the fact that this is a popular topic and a lot of people are searching about it. But underneath are the results of a pin for the same post with tailwind (I also used a different design)

These are also the best results I have got through tailwind. It might only have 1 click and 1 save but it shows that tailwind does increase your views and shows your pins to people.
However, I do think this is due to pinterest being a popular topic. This is because all my other tailwind pins have got 3 views or 0 views. All of these pins have gone through the same process on tailwind, so actually the only reason my other pin got 404 impressions was because of the niche (category).
So is tailwind worth £9.99. In my opinion £799.99 is a complete waste of money on something that will just schedule your pins, aswell I think £9.99 is a bit extravagant but if you really think you can get amazing traffic through pinterest then go for it. I do recommend you try the free trial first.
