I’m going to start this post off with a welcome back to my blog, it has been a while since i have posted something and I apologize for that (you can expect some more posts whilst in self isolation), but today’s post is an update on 2 things I posted about a while ago – Swagbucks and Fiverr. Disclaimer – My results might not be the same as yours this post is about what happened to me and I am not trying to put you off anything or tell you that you should do something because I cannot guarantee specific results.
We will start with Swagbucks. To be completely honest i didn’t quite give Swagbucks a fair test, however there is a reason for this. I am actually under the required age to do most surveys (not for fiverr just some of the surveys)so I could not test the app to its full potential. I had Swagbucks for about a week – i watched videos and did the survey made by Swagbucks. Overall I made about £3.50 it’s doesn’t sound terrible but £3 was from the sign-up bonus. 50p in a week spending at least 30 minutes doing it everyday isn’t exactly great. However if you are over the required age for the surveys and are wanting a way to make money you should try it because some of the surveys could actually earn you some good money if you do lots of them. My overall rating of Swagbucks is 6/10 however that is only due to the age problem, It could be a good way to make money.
Fiverr wasn’t a success to me either. This could be due to the fact I only had 1 gig and is a popular and also a competitive market. With Swagbucks you don’t have competition against others and don’t need to rely on others to buy your services but with fiverr if you are not original you have to compete against others for buyers. It is likely if people have more reviews or have more experience they will probably get picked over you. I am not telling t=you to not use fiverr because it is a potential way to make money, but it did not work for me. I would rate Fiverr a 5/10 because you could potentially make a lot of money but unfortunately it didn’t work for me.
